Weekend great escape to somewhere near Bakun with the whole bunch of my family members, just to enjoy the nature....... Haven't do this for quite sometime...

Due to bladder infections, I was stuck at home for almost a week. During the recovery process, I got high fever.... oooohhh wellllll Luckily i have my comfort foods & cuddly friends to keep my days with smiles ...heheheheheh

Being unwell for more than a week, I've missed the boxing day fever. However, it didn't stop me to check out what ever the left over they have in store for me... :(

At 2.30 pm, we headed up to CN Tower....

By 6 pm, we made our way to Eaton Centre for dinner . On the way there, we captured few night shots with light snow fall.

Day 3, Toronto, Canada: Snow Storm

Snow storm hit Toronto on Dec 19 with temperature of -21 degree Celsius. With heavy snow fall and strong wind, the roads were covered with 10 cm of snow and the road conditions were treacherous. So I ended up sleeping for the whole afternoon and later in the evening, I took the advantage to show my "real talent" of cooking.. lol

Due to work load that need to be finalized before end of the year, I can't really think of an interesting topic/issue to share for now. But I do want to share these few pics below:-

Back then, when I was a student, I always looked up to my dad every time he came back from work. By 5.30pm, the whole family will gather for tea & and either mom or dad will tell us stories, be it fiction or non-fiction, I just love listening to them. And at the end of the story, they will always pointed out 'the morale of the story is....'. Dad, being the only breadwinner in our family then, seldom talks about his work and colleagues unless mom asked him.

One thing that dad wants to avoid the most at his work place is from getting involve in a so-called 'office politics' that majority involve and lead by FEMALES. I told dad, "just ignore what ever it is lah.." Right!!!! Now, having stepping my own foot into this competitive & no mercy working world, I slowly get to understand on how much one can be affected by this freaking cold-blooded crime.

It is more or less like a real world or national politics. One will praise and worship the higher ranked & discredits those who are the competitors only for the sake of raise, promotion & surprise surprise, some did it just to get an attention & be notified. It is ridiculous! But hey, this is the fact that I bet most of us would agree with me of having the same environment at their work place. Small, medium or big organizations, 'office politics' are common. Some will go to the extreme which can stir angers and jealousy amongst fellow colleagues.

Many times I questioned myself why do we still possess such in-humane character and/or attitude. We always claim ourselves to be the new generation with incredible knowledge and highly professional self-educated. But do we really act like one? Or are we going back to the medieval time, when our ancestors used to practice the head hunting on other tribes when ever there is a dispute over land? Or are we losing our souls over what the world have to offer us? Are we purposely letting ourselves to be blind folded and live our lives in denial every times we 'kill' others? It is sad, isn't it?

Word can become fire and word can turn the world into a fiery war, and yet we are daring to play with word in our little hut!!

Plan...

We plan a lot of events in life but most of the time, the plan remained plan. Earlier on today, I had a very interesting chat with my fellow friends while enjoying our drinks. It seem that planning for something take for example, a vacation in Phuket can easily excite us. When we are planning, we get all the adrenalin rush to make it happen. But will it happen? *wink wink to N_ll_ & D_nn_

When I come to think about it, having plan is to create another excitement in life. It does not matter whether it is happening or being cancel at the end of the day. It is a nature of life. We have plan because the future is remained unfold. Some plan might come true, some might not. This is a beauty of "life". We make plan to spice up our life. Without plan our life will dull and empty.

So, to my fellow friends especially N_ll_ who plans an event for this coming Monday, lets wait and see for the outcome!!! :)

As usual, my weekends went very fast. Most of the time, I was day dreaming on how to go about the interior and exterior design of the new house my family plan to purchase. Yup,..just day dream. I am very excited about it as this is the first time I will have the opportunity to blend in my idea on what furniture shall go to the lounge... the lightning... should my room be painted earthy..or as my lil sis said.."I want violet cum purple in my room!" hmmmm.. Violet cum purple??? Meaning..??? Isn't it that these two are distinctive colors??.. Some wants to have gazebo at the back yard!!..*jaw dropped.. Man, I desperately need help from the pros here.

Right after Sunday service, I rushed to the bookstore and bought few magazines on home decor and spending the whole Sunday night reading it and slept in with it. Have I get the idea yet? Nope!!!

My Monday... as it is declared public hol, I took my sweet time bathing my "lil buddy"...Trixxie.

Malaysia, Happy 51st Independant Day!!

I hereby wish all the Malaysian Happy 51st Independent Day. Let's hope for the betterment of the country and peace amongst each and every one of us.

The period of 51 years being freed from colonizers meant nothing if we remained colonized by our very own hatreds, prejudices, jealousy and selfish amongst us as family, friends, colleagues and community. If we continue living in such a way, then face the fact that we are the prisoners of our own conducts and emotion caused by our own being.

To Forgive & To Forget

Will you be able to do so? Let’s forgive and forget. This sentence was uttered to a friend by a lady at the end of last year. Having sincerely apologizing for her misbehavior *with tears, hugs and words of wisdom, that friend told her that she is forgiven and shall forget what had happened. But, does the friend be able to do that? Hmmmm.. The friend said that she had forgiven the lady but the incident remains freshly intact in the friend's head. I wonder why? I believe every and each of us have gone through many of such experience.

I remember during one of the Sunday service I attended to, a Pastor said, to forgive, it has to come from the heart and only then you will be able to forget.

Could it be that the forgiveness was not sincere enough? But how to determine that? Is there a yardstick to measure the sincerity? The friend told me that the pain was unbearable, the lady's action was unthinkable and of course the friend was pissed off as she never expect such behavior from a lady who's about the same age of her mother.

Quiet & peaceful

Early this year, Rhymee, Suz & I had 2 days trip to Brunei to attend to a friend's wedding. Suz & I took a ride with Rhymee since he is the only person amongst us all who knew the place better. It was an amazing trip and hilarious too.

We made a stop at The Empire Hotel & Country Club and snapped tons on pics. It was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay.

We were so lucky as the next day happened to be the Independent Day for Brunei. Before checking out, we headed to Bandar Seri Begawan (Rhymee, correct me if I'm wrong..lol) where the celebration was scheduled. We joined the crowd only for 1 hour as we have to rush back to hotel to check out before 1pm.

The sky wasn't in the mood of celebration tho'.. :p

Most of all, it wouldn't be perfect without burning some cash... *Rhymee...should we be looking forward for another trip somewhere..someday....:)

Is that how you define a marriage? I am yet to figure that out. Last weekend, another sweet couple tied their love with sacred vows..."till death do us apart". Sacred it is. They started the relationship since high school and hopefully it will last with joys and happiness.

Man, writing is tough. I have to admit it. This is totally different than writing a submission or any legal documentation. As for now, I have to sign off to figure out other issue for tomorrow. *phewwwww
